Faded was formed in 1999 by Josh Benjamin and Seth Bollman. After adding three more members, the band played several shows in the Northwest including The Big Easy in Spokane, WA. Around 2005, the band underwent line-up changes with all the members choosing to pursue other interests except for Benjamin. Quickly after, Benjamin started playing with drummer Mitch Swanger. With Mitch and Josh writing new songs, the sound of the band was growing up, with more complex songs and subsequently a different sound. After a few songs were written, Benjamin showed Nick Osborn the song, "Crawling Closer", while recording on Benjamin’s other projects. Osborn sang a few verses and the rest, as they say, is history. Faded has just released their debut full-length album titled “The Last Hours,” which hit stores Dec. 1st, 2007. The album features 12 tracks including fan favorites, “Bleed”, “A Safe Place”, and “Take Me Away.” With the release of "The Last Hours," the band’s success has been rising. “The Last Hours” is currently in rotation on Rock 94.5 in Spokane, WA and is picking up steam on 100.3 The X in Boise, ID. The band is currently promoting the album by playing shows and doing several interviews – JP at Rock 94.5 and DJ Rad at Kugr 95.1 to name a few. On stage, faded will be playing with new bassist Bob James, and can be seen at several venues around the Northwest including The Boulevard and The Big Easy in Spokane, The Domino Room in Oregon, and the Save Our Shire Festival in St. Johns, WA featuring 26 bands.
