With his unique and soulful voice, Erick Baker is asking us to feel and connect with our emotions in a time when ignoring them has become the most common strategy. His onstage passion and the vulnerability in his words give his performances the power to open wounds and mend them at the same time. In February 2008, he released his debut EP It's Getting Too Late To Say It's Early, which was recorded with Grammy nominated producer Travis Wyrick of Lakeside Studios. Like a worn diary of beaten but wise pages, Erick Baker's sincere songs of hurt, healing, pain, and promise are an open door into each of our lives through the cracks of our hearts. They give an honest voice to his emotions, and they speak to anyone who needs an understanding voice for their own.

Opening for Natasha Beddingfield

Wednesday July 23rd, I was asked if I would like to open for Natasha Bedingfield on that Friday, the 25th. I humbly accepted and the show went without a hitch.
I sang 4 songs which included July’s channel winner in Acoustic, “Stay Awhile” and 2nd ranked song “My Two Left Feet” in Male Singer / Songwriter. I had a great time. What an opportunity to share my music with almost 1,000 strangers.
I’d like to thank Natasha Bedingfield for the opportunity for unsigned musicians like myself to take part in her special night in Knoxville,TN.
