Eatliz Band
"... a critical mass of talent that is bound to burst/explode overseas. It is highly recommended to absorb it, as long as it's still here." (Yoav Bril "Time-Out Tel Aviv”)
Eatliz is considered as "Israel's indie super group".
The band first appeared in the Israeli indie scene in 2002 and has been playing a significant role in it ever since. Eatliz is the second musical project initiated by Guy Ben-Shitrit, guitarist and main writer for the cult act Infectzia, whose humorous yet clever lyrics and unique blend of different styles gained a strong hold among an ever-growing crowd of Israeli teenagers.
The songs Ben-Shitrit writes for Eatliz are in English and aim at a more mature audience. His complex compositions and arrangements move between various musical arenas in a way which seems nearly impossible. Different songs feature influences of hard-rock, surf, punk, goth, power-pop and other genres; at times several of these turn up in a single song (!). As such a wide variety is hard to categorize, the band members will usually describe their music as "complicated pop".
The Eatliz ensemble joins together some of the best musicians in the local scene: Guy Ben Shitrit – guitars, Or Bahir – guitars, Adam Scheflan – bass, Omri Hanegbi – drums, Amit Erez – guitars and Lee Triffon – lead vocals.
All of them are active members in various renowned acts, each bringing his (or her) unique style and approach to the music. This combination makes Eatliz a band like no other.
The group has earned it's following through word of mouth and extensive touring of Tel Aviv clubs. Eatliz's fans like to invite others to come and see "the best band you haven't heard yet"; but that is about to change with the release of the band's full-length debut release "Violently Delicate"; the first video of which (for the single "Attractive") is a beautiful animated piece that has already stirred quite a buzz throughout the web. "Attractive" video is nominated for 'the best Clip' award in the international animation festival "AnimaMundi", which will take place at the end of June 2007. The Full album titled "Violently Delicate" was released at November 2007.

Eatliz Violently Delicate (Anova Productions)
Eatliz hail from Israel and play what they call ‘Complicated pop’. There’s a good reason for that as they dart restlessly between styles. Guitarist and songwriter Guy Ben-Shirtrit gives a sterling performance, as does singer Lee Triffon.
“Sunshine” is a plea for peace that shifts from slow verses to an explosive chorus. Triffon sings like an angel finding its wings. “Say Where” is a softer song that allows the singer to reach unbelievable heights. “Be Invisible” is the band at the peak of its powers, the guitarist giving a dynamite performance. The songs ebb an...
