About deathaudio
The saying, “you can never find anything perfect, but it will come to you” finally came true for the beginning of Death Audio. Will Borland, guitarist of Death Audio, struggling in and out of bands for years finally decided to give up and work for the music industry instead. Being a talented musician Will never stops playing, but it wasn’t easy to find a match to suit his playing. For 2 years Will started an event management business. Putting hundreds of local Australian bands onstage to be exposed to the public, discovering many talented bands. In early 2007 Will discovered a band called Scar the Surface, and decide to put them on his management roster. From irrelevant occurring events Will meets Bulldog, drummer for Death Audio. On tour together with Scar the Surface, Will and Bulldog discuss a possibility of starting a band. Bulldogs ambition to work overseas leaves him with only questioning his own decision to starting a new band.
Death Audio born in the rehearsal rooms at the Jam Tin in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. From the first rehearsal with Will and Bulldog the Jam Tin shook with a new talents and sound. From motivating rehearsals Bulldog resigned his idea to work overseas, and Will cut down half his work load to commit to the band. Stepping into the band next was Josh, Vocalist for Death Audio. Starting off on bass in the band josh brought aggressive melodies to kill for, also bringing in Jay from his former band. With a full band line up without vocals, Death Audio audition week after week for the perfect vox, not knowing that the talent was standing in the room with them behind the bass. After some time Josh decided to leave the band due to personal health problems. Weeks Death Audio still practice and wrote songs and not give up on the music they created. After about 2 month Josh has called in and said he misses the band, and he would like to try vocals instead of bass. Josh Stepping into the room after week’s absence was amused by the progress and development of the new music. Suddenly Death Audio discovered the strong aggressive vocal chord that drives the band.
After weeks of writing melodic metal, Death Audio needed to fill the backbone with a tight bass. Will knowing Aaron invited him to rehearsal, instantly the punch tones of the songs made Aarons body mosh to the music. Aaron was the final chemistry to Death Audio.
8 month in the making Death Audio has created tracks that are strong and catchy to the alternative audience. Striking Victoria for the first time on tour with the mighty Frankenbok in April 08 will push their ability to create a massive fan base. Death Audio only see’s a future, and will never reminisce about the past.
