  Your recent blog... MAKE FANS not Friends...I found something useful in each point that was made. Perhaps the idea of playing for 5 that WANT to see you vs. 100 that just happen to be in the room while you are playing was the most important point for me. Those intimate (very) coffee shop shows really bring folks who love me and they are the loyal fans that spread the word.   dan-ma-man, thanks for the free epk dude. this site rocks. i can see it developing into a myspace-ala-facebook place for musicians...except with more user interaction. i've beefed the old epk up a little and will keep adding to it.
  
  the video for my song win-or-defeat in support of our Paralympic Team will be released in a week or so, and ourstage will be one of the first places i will upload it. i'm really excited about it, ive seen the cut, and its stellar.

  The new EPK rocks! Eat your heart out Sonic Bids!
  Here is our update.We had a great debut performance in NYC last weekend. We were well recieved at one of the hippest clubs in Manhattan... Mehanata Bulgarian Bar. This place is very cool. We will be back there on July 5th.
  Then we played to over 100 people at the Hollis Spring Gala last Sunday. Thanks to all who came out to support.
  Daniel,Check out our EPK... we have some great pictures on there as well as some great shows on our calendar.
  We have a few great concerts coming up with the Nationally acclaimed Robin Nolan Trio from Amsterdam this June.
  Then we are back in NYC, and in August we will be in Philly on World Cafe Live.
  Much more to come, but please check us out and keep us in mind.
  We are working on some bookings in Boston and I will keep you posted.

  That was helpful as always. I did work on my EPK and I do have an upcoming event that I'm excited about. It's my debut CD release party at the Spirit of the Suwannee in Live Oak, FL on Friday, June 13th. People will once again be seeing Jason on Friday the 13th. I know, I know.   what about the ghost signs ins? I'm with you Dan and I think ourstage is brilliant..but the semi finals are being ruined by up-vote-down vote- mulitiple accounts..so many artists are worried about this cos its going to compromise a great site and the hard work thats been put into it)i want to join your team as a Euro rep and have worked in the music industry for 20 years..We need to come up with a strategy (i dont think just a user pic and profile wil solve the prob)to weed out the cheaters...i know its a difficult one..will keep my thinking cap on

  Just been monitoring the finals voting - it seems some artists are creating fan profiles to vote purely for their own songs and vote down those at the top. I'm sure you probably aware of this problem but am interested to know what Ourstage plans to do about it as I have heard a good few people complaining about this.

  Hello Dan. Why don't you consider a channel called " Ready to cut " for songwriters that post polished demos that music industry people can browse. Your top prize could be a song on an ourstage compilation album. you would only need to have the main genre's of music, not the subs. One of our lead singers is a dead ringer for Neil. The bar heard people raving about it so they asked us to do the tribute. Anyway, it should be a good time. We're going burn the place down.
