with their strong artistic sensibilities and passionate approach to music, cyrus skillfully mixes elements of rock, folk, and indie for a sound unlike any other on the alternative-rock scene. based in lubbock, texas, the group began performing in the spring of 2001 and released their self-titled debut lp in november 2003. their latest album, source, was entirely recorded and produced by the band itself and released in december 2007.

today is our birthday

Today cyrus turns 7 years old. Our very first concert was May 1, 2001. 7 years and two albums later, things are going better than ever. Thanks for listening, and happy Cinco de Mayo.
