My love for music and performing started at a young age. To this day I continue to follow that love.

My name is Christopher-Kevin Swartwood, and I am a singer/songwriter from Maricopa, Arizona. I have been told that my music has a loosely reminiscent sound of artists like Paul Simon, Donovan Leitch, Matt Costa among others.

I find great joy when friends, family and fans of my music tell me how in some way-to them; my music has made an impression on them. That to me is the greatest compliment I could ever receive. My writing style is similar to that of literature-both children’s stories and novels alike. I like to use words openly, allowing the listener to paint a mental picture of their own; much like when reading a story. The comment I receive most from listeners is, “While listening to your songs…I can actually see with my minds eyes what you’re talking about.”
I love to perform and play music for groups and crowds of any size. Meeting people and sitting and talking with them is an experience that is hard to describe; the reactions of people to the music (good or bad) is a major drive for me……to put it simply; I just want to share my music with the as many willing listeners as possible. My ultimate dream is to travel the country in a Winnebago playing shows and meeting amazing people.
In my personal opinion…I believe my music is the squeakiest, out of tune, most un-danceable music I have heard in a long time…but by Gods graces—or foul sense of humor; I have a supportive group of people following me around pushing me to do better.
