About CHILDE
"Take HIM, you monsters. We are innocent!"
CHILDE is a new rock trio from Brooklyn, NY. We play original music and we like to do it for you.
The band was started when legendary troubadour poet and songwriter Doranovich Danoffsky met guitarist and revolutionary Tyler Wenzel on a Merchant Marine vessel travelling from Mongolia to Baton Rouge. They became great friends on the journey and upon arriving back in The United States they visited a travelling circus outside of Alabama where they saw a large and burly man referred to as Dave "The Bruce" who was being forced by the circus master to play his mind-blowing drum solos hour after hour while little children threw quarters at him. The three escaped the perils of capitalist scum to join forces and create the band, the force, the power: CHILDE.
Doran "D-struction" Danoff on the Fender Rhodes, Analog synths, computers, gadgets, whistles and whips as well as lead vocals and song-smithing. Tyler "Timmy-Timmy Turmoil" on the strings-n-things. Dave "The Bruce" Butler on skins and fins.
