Deep Cover
Deep Cover was born in Stuttgart, Germany. His birth name is Alex Jabari. He began his career in 1991 in a group called Shades of Black Men. This group performed at the Apollo in 1993. Deep Cover began his solo career in 1996 and in 1999 he paid tribute to the Jacksonville Jaguars by producing “The End Zone” song that was featured in Jaguar home games. In 2003 he wrote and produced “Bounce That Ass” which quickly became a hit on Dirty South radio. Deep Cover has a large internet fan base that extends from the United States to Japan. His new release entitled “The Weight of a Teardrop” was written and produced in May of 2006. “The Weight of a Teardrop” brings to life real situations that are happening in the world today. Deep Cover presents these situations with both hard core truth and compassion. The title “The Weight of a Teardrop” reflects his deep feelings of both pain and triumph of overcoming the seemingly impossible. Deep Cover writes about his experiences and through his lyrics they come to life. His new release, "M.O.E.(Money Over Everythig)", has east coast flavor with a west coast swing. It is available in stores everywhere.
