Caden Welborn is a self-taught keyboardist and composer who began playing at age two. By the time he was four he composed his first song about a ‘storm on the sea.’ Caden sharpened his musical talent by intently playing the keyboard for the next 10 years.

At age 14 Caden was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a debilitating illness that affects the digestive system. He lost weight, had many hospital stays and still struggles with the ongoing symptoms and drug regimens of this serious illness. Friends and family hope and pray for remission of Caden’s disease and for the day there is a cure for Caden and all those who suffer from Crohn’s.

Since his diagnoses in 2006, this talented teen has continued to study his art and compose music from his heart. Caden’s work has been used in commercials and one is currently a theme for a local TV program.

Caden has studied modern day composers and can tell you who composed the music for many movies of the last two decades. His dream is to score a musical work for a major motion picture.
