Writer / Director Alex Kazan moved to the US from Yorkshire, England, during June 1996. He wrote his first novel "Lady in Red" at the tender age of twelve. He subsequently joined the high school theater and arts group and directed his first play, "The Tall Thief" at fourteen. During his studies at Leeds Metropolitan University where he gained his BEng (Hon) in electronics Engineering, he also attended the well known Leeds School of Arts and mastered the art of writing. Later in the US he increased his knowledge of filmmaking by studying at the New York Film Academy. As a student he made several shorts including the festival favorites “Hell’s Angel” and “A Day At The Park In 2002 Kazan founded Blue Rocket Films (BRF) based in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. Since then BRF has produced works by Alex and other filmmakers. These works include “Demon’s Trap”(2003, Alex Kazan), “ACID”(2004, by upcoming Indian director Swroop Kanchi) traveled the festival circuit in India and made it to the respected Times of India. “Supernova, California”(2004, Alex Kazan), “Vigilante Cop”(2005, Alex Kazan) starring Justin Ferrari and Raul Gonzales. During 2005 Alex also developed “PayBack, the Trojan Assembly” to be produced in 2009. As a producer Alex has raised finances, negotiated terms and conditions for production to gain better production values for minimal cost. His involvement with sales and distribution has helped with producing market friendly projects and a quick project turn around. Finally, Kazan’s scientific background mixed with his creative talents have made him one of only a few Producer / Directors in Hollywood who know how to bring the world of dreams and the sense of reality together to make a believable and entertaining movie.
Jeff Willner recently joined Blue Rocket Films as Vice President of Production. Willner brings with him 26 years of Production and Post Production experience. He most recently held positions as Sr. Vice President of TriCoast Studios where he was responsible for all facets of Production and Post Production. Willner produced the pilot “South of Nowhere” for the Tom Lynch Company, which went for three seasons. He also held Positions as Executive Vice President of EDS Digital Studios as well as Modern Videofilm. He was at Virgin Vision, the North American based entertainment division of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group as Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Distribution. Willner also held the same position with MCEG… Prior to That Willner was Director of Operations for New World Pictures Home Video Division.
Justin is a Northern California native born in San Francisco and was one out of four partners in two modeling agencies in California and Las Vegas. Justin gave up the modeling world for his passion for acting and that was the main drive for his move to Hollywood. Since his arrival in Hollywood Justin has showcased for various casting directors and received positive feed back. Justin has studied acting at the American National Academy Of Performing Arts. He has also studied acting with casting director and acting coach Angela Campolla Sanders. Justin has acted in over twenty movies and at this time is currently taking advanced on camera commercial acting classes with Michael Pointer, his commercial agent. Justin is a team member with Blue Rocket Films, where he first auditioned for the supporting role in the feature film "Demon's Trap". Having been cast as Mike in Demon's Trap, Justin offered his help on and off the set. He is now a permanent member of Blue Rocket Films and has taken the role of an associate producer in our latest project "Quadriga Scales Of Justice". Justin will also be acting in this film.
