I used to hear that I did a pretty good Robert Plant. They gave me a nickname around 1994 or so, they called me "Robert". - What a cool nickname! Thank You for comparing me to my all time favorite singer. In my all time favorite band. That's a huge compliment. I have also heard that I sound a bit like like Eddy Vedder (Pearl Jam). When I was a bit younger and chose to sing the songs, I could reproduce Axel Rose pretty closely. ...I don't choose to sing those songs anymore... lol. I still hear that I sound like Sammy Hagar or Scott Stapp and I've even heard that I sound like Chris Cornell. To be considered among these huge names is amazing! Yet I don't try to sound like anyone. "I do what I do" and let you be the judge. I just hope you like the mess I make.
