"Hi everyone! My name is Aryn Michelle and I am a native of the state of Texas in the United States, and I began writing music at the age of 15 years old and now, I just can't stop! My love for music has inspired me to write, co-produce and release seven indie demos of my own original material. My style has been described as alternative pop/rock with a flavor of country and a pinch of jazz. I am a versatile singer/songwriter who writes all her own material, sings, and you will find me playing the piano and guitar as part of my music.

In 2006, I graduated summa ### laude from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Communication. After graduation, I devoted a year to work for AmeriCorps, a non-profit organization that addresses critical needs in communities all across America. I also spent time focusing on touring in venues, clubs, and festivals around Austin, Texas.

I have recently completed a certificate program from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with emphasis in Songwriting. While I was in New England, I kept myself extra busy by playing gigs around town with my Boston-based band. I am proud to say that, while at Berklee, I received the Scott Benson Award for songwriting, and was selected to perform in the Songwriting Dept. showcase, the Performing Songwriter showcase and the Singer's Showcase events. In 2008, the Indie Singer Songwriter Association selected me as a finalist in the categories of Singer/Songwriter of the Year and Best New Artist. In May 2009, I released my first professional album entitled "Lockless Heart", which was produced by Phillip Ferrell." "Lockless Heart" is Aryn Michelle's first full-length professional indie album and is her first project with her Boston-based band along with producer Phillip Ferrell. It features original tracks complete with some dramatic violin solos (provided by Maddy Zani) and dynamic guitar solos (provided by John Taylor). The subject matter for this album has much to do with breaking free from isolation and experiencing the good and bad parts of love. Lockless Heart released in May 2009.
