Hell in the state of misery(HitsoM) "the band" is a one man show using electronic tools to create what we here at Hell in the state of misery call "Techno Goth" and "Modern Gothic Opera" or "Gothic Rock". It is the considered oppinion of the HitsoM staff that our music would benefit from a seasoned producer. What you hear on our tracks is raw sound. Many of the newer tracks that have been added for the April contests have a much cleaner sound when uploaded to our stage that we hope we can continue to improve upon.

We write a small web comic book which describe the adventures and misadventures of the succulently sexy and seriously smokin succubus 'Malice' and her lover the irresistably masculine and tortuously well defined demon lord of the lower Planes 'Arioch'.

Our only album "A Romance Made in Hell" is a modern Gothic Opera (which makes it very hard to categorize for the contests here at our stage) that is telling the story that is written in our comic book that you can find at our link. It is not entirely finished and consists of 30 songs lasting almost 40 minutes. This is what I am calling side one of the intended double album.

I have new tools that make most of my older music sound really lame. So look forward to new music as we pursue side two of "A Romance made in Hell" and maybe revist side one.

We have added a photo gallery for our friends and fans hope you like it.

While we doubt that a record label will ever want to pick up our music nor do we believe anyone will buy our tracks we have to put it out there and see what happens because as we all know if we dont make the attempt we have no choice but to fail.

Soon we will have a short music video to go with one of the songs. It is taking us forever to animate the 100's of frames necessary for this to actually work. We had hoped to create an animated series but it is so much work that we are just barely making any progress. We also hope to turn it into a feature length movie one day.

In the more distant future look for Hell in the state of Misery the video game. Featuring the music of Hell in the stae of Misery as well as Malice and Arioch as playable characters. This is a long term project.
