Zero Point is a brand new alternative hard rock band out of Knoxville, TN. Zero Point has been playing together for nearly a now and has quickly carved themselves a signature sound that is hard to compare to any particular band out there. With a wide variety of influences, they draw upon many different styles ranging from classic rock to modern metal to build their own unique sound. The band was formed by Jeremy Johnson and Kevin (Ox) Akstulewicz who met through an ad in the Metro Pulse newspaper. After trying many bassists and drummers from different online listings and newspaper ads, Mark Graham and Thomas Hughes were added to complete the band. The bands sound is heavily influenced by bands like Breaking Benjamin, Alice In Chains, Staind, Submersed, Korn, Metallica, and several other radio rock bands as well as more progressive bands such as Dream Theater and Rush. The band's sound is edgy enough to keep the musicians in the audience satisfied but still mainstream enough for the average listener to enjoy. In order to truly understand what this band is all about you absolutely have to check out a live performance so if you're interested, get out there and see for yourself!
