Detroit area rapper and C.E.O of Ydot ENT, Yung Khan continues an unrelenting march towards Hip/Hop world domination. At 6’5” his towering presence is surpassed only by his lyrical prowess and smooth vocals. The son of a former singer (mother) and producer (father), Y.K (Y dot K) was surrounded by music at an early age. Surprisingly, he did not start seriously recording until age 19. After suffering through several disappointing college basketball campaigns, he rediscovered his love of music and invested in his own studio to build his craft. 2009 marked a prolific assault on the music world with the release of 3 mixtapes and over 100 recordings. His first mixtape entitled “2012” marked the debut of a raw but talented artist. Energized by a very supportive and growing fan base he worked diligently to release his second mixtape entitled “Mortal Khanbat”. It unveiled a fresh newly refined style and unique character. The success of “Mortal Khanbat” spread rapidly across social networking sites like Facebook/MySpace and produced more than 5000 downloads on Datpiff. “Prozed & Khan” is his 3rd and by far finest mixtape. Released on October 31, 2009 this was surely no Trick. Yung Khan definitely treats fans to many great songs with varying musical styles and influences. Initial fan response has been very positive worldwide for his two single releases “Number Two” and “Run and Shake”. Yung Khan is currently performing at Festivals and local Detroit area venues. Yung Khan is a versatile song-writer who genuinely enjoys creating good music. His creativity is present on hits such as Leanin [7] and Love Song [9]! Hip Hop Stardom 101 Magazine Co-signs Yung Khan and his latest release entitled "Khan Air".

Annihilation by This dude is official!
This dude is OFFICIAL! Yung Khan should be all over the radio and on tour with some of Hip-Hop's elite, because he is an elite artist among other unsigned artists. His latest album, Annihilation, is that "crack". As a fan of Midwest hip-hop music, I like Khan's music. Out the gate, "Hands Up" just smacks you in the face like Rick James did Charlie Murphy on The Chappelle Show. The opening track on Khan's album, this joint is way too short man! Just listen to it and you'll understand. Another fire bomb is "Spend It". The beat is so stupid, if you don't like it, you don't have ears! Khan's delivery and punch lines are far from amateur and had my neck jerking constantly. An adrenaline rush, Spend It is all about blowing your money on material possessions, which is typical of most young artists in hip-hop music, but it is what it is. Check out "Who", because Yung Khan gets ridiculous on this one. The beat is sick and I can't think of too many artists today who have tracks this hot in the hip-hop game. Khan brags about his talent, again - typical of most hip-hop artists, but when you're this good you can ask what he's asking - "who you know better than me?" While it's not a shot at any one particular artist, I can definitely hear a lot of responses to that question coming from those artists who have attained international commercial success and recognition, like Ludacris, Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, and the like. Nonetheless, these guys couldn't deny that Yung Khan is good at what he does, and they'd be smart to sign him. Overall, Yung Khan is one of the best undiscovered hip-hop artists in the game today. If you like hot hip-hop beats, catchy hooks, and dope lyrics, check out Khan because he's definitely a worldwide star waiting to happen.
