On September 12th 2006, Paper Plane flight 2005 went down over the coast of Long Beach California. Luckily all 5 passengers walked away either unscathed or with minor injuries. Those hindered with trivial wounds would all go on to make full recoveries; the plane on the other hand was totaled beyond repair. In November 2006, the group attempted to reconstruct the craft but fell way short. This turn of events left some of the members questioning whether they would ever fly again. Shortly after their failed endeavor, members of the group dispersed throughout California, where they laid flightless. While grounded, some of the members worked vigorously to devise a plan to get the group off the ground. In January of 2008 all the members of Paper Plane flight 2005 and a new recruit met up in a small room in Long Beach (near the sight of the crash) to go over the new blueprints. After months of study and practice, it was understood amongst the group that they put their plan into action. Being larger and stronger, the group knew that the conventional softwoods used for paper-wings were not going to be able to support the group through flight. They needed something bigger and better, sleeker and stronger. They needed it to be passed down from the gods. Something so great, it was fit for a Queen! With all members in place and a superior form of travel perfected, they are now ready! “Wings for the Queen” is slated to set flight on May 30th 2008 in Hollywood, California. Destination…unknown! (Now is that cliché enough for a band bio?)
