Karen Smalley-Turner and Claudine West met while playing at a 'open mic night' in 'The Lion' Pub in Nottingham, U.K. Some recordings in a home studio followed. Then life, death and fate, took it's course.
They got together a while later after a chance meeting and played live. They have been recording and performing ever since. Karen being the principle songwriter. Claudine recording multi instrumentation on the tracks. Both women producing the songs.
The combination of beauty in music, creative freedom, honesty, having lots of fun and feeling the magic makes all of this work. Makes all of this The Idolins.

What The Idolins create continues, feels, becomes, builds to a vibrant world upon a horizon of electric blue. Running its blessed fingers through oceans of soundwaves, metal strings, tones, harmonies, skin, melodies, ivory, Feeling it within you... Tapping on monoliths after the rain.
