The Gallery

The Gallery’s hook-laden rock songs combine a mix of mainstream appeal and professionalism with indie cred and likability. Forming in 2005, the group took lineup shifts, label changes and relocation from New England to Florida in stride. The current foursome, Brendan Cooney (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Cooney (drums), Dave Mozdzanowski (bass/bg vocals), and Cody Hunt (guitar) have maintained their fan base in Massachusetts, while building a similar following in Southern Florida. Fresh off a fifty date national tour with Showbread, the band is already ready to head back out on the road again. The Gallery takes pride in sharing their music and passion with fans at live shows, gradually winning over fans across the country. It’s not hard to see or hear why.

Listen to their solid 2008 debut, If You Know What I Mean, and you’ll be shocked how developed their sound was, right out of the gate. Beneath The Gallery’s mainstream veneer is an unexpected lyrical maturity that transcends the group’s young age. They explore the spaces between growing up and following dreams, and between falling in and out of love, writing songs that are both meaningful and instantly relatable. Fast-forward to 2010, and the year bears exciting promise. Early samples of recordings in-the-works reveal a band expanding and sharpening their sound.
