He's opened shows for BB King, Tina Turner, and The Fifth Dimension. He's shared the stage and studio with players from the bands of Count Basie, Dionne Warwick, Lyle Lovett, and Dr. John... ... There's only one Crawdaddy...TURN IT UP & ENJOY!...... AND THE STORY BEHIND THE MONIKER: For twelve years back in the 80's and 90's, Richard "The Crawdaddy" Dance threw the largest crawfish festival in the Southwest United States. The Arizona Crawfish Festival raised thousands of dollars for Phoenix Day Child Develoment Center and Phoenix Youth at Risk. (Check out the photos of some the musicians who played the festival).
