About Shannon Haley

I've been singing my whole life and started writing songs at about eight years old. I started out college at UCLA as a vocal performance major (opera!) and quickly decided to go back to focusing on my own type of singing and writing. I've played throughout Los Angeles for awhile and after graduating (with a sociology degree!!! very important for singers...) I moved to Nashville. I've been here for a little over a month and am having a great time writing songs with some fabulous talent!! Hope you enjoy my music!

Someday Soon - Cold chills... gorgeous vocals

This is an absolutely perfect song to me. I see myself drivin' down the road, listenin' to this wonderful song on the radio... a tear in my eye... evoking hope that had almost completely left me.

This song inspires me!!!!!!

From the very first note our vocalist gives us perfection!!! Her voice melds with each and every syllable she sings... and every word this lady puts out is in perfect pitch and her tone is tremendously pleasing to the listeners ear. Very, very lovely voice...

The back up harmonies are precisely where they need to be... love it when I hear a tune where there seems to be... not note out of place, not one word that needs to be rewritten.

The musical score itself is expertly written... this song is a hit. The guitar work is perfect, the drumming is done so very well... it all comes together as a "masterpiece".... I can so relate to these lyrics... inspirational piece...

Lordie, lordie... a song of hope and love and every reason a writer writes, is right here in this tune. Whoever you are, you've written a terrific work... love the chorus!!!!! Please, please write more like this one... the world needs this!

Going out... once again, experiencing cold chills...

Wow... this feels so wonderful!!! Great work... really, really enjoyed this piece. Thank you!!!

Someday SoonI LOVE this rhythm!

This song has POWER and it drives rhythmically.
Where do I start...the singer is a definite star..she needs NO input, not even from an old vocal coach like me. She's got a great open tone, NO pitch issues..not a one trick pony, she's likely just as strong on anything she sings.
Production...sounds like "A Team".
This is one of the most compellingly produced tracks I've heard on GB.

Here's an album for the broken hearted

Here's an album for the broken hearted

with lots of reflection on what went wrong, and longing to give it another try. The beautiful melancholy sounds from Shannon Haley show sadness mixed with regrets and hope for another

chance at love. There is something inherently vulnerable in the soft hurting and reminiscing over lost love by such a sweet sounding voice, but always full of hope to give it another try.

The overwhelming message of the album is about broken romance and doubts about when the other shoe is gonna fall and you're alone again. There is a crossroads song in "Somebody's Gonna Fall" as you wonder who is gonna get hurt this time, and the upbeat "All You All the Time" is full of happy comparisons about a true love who is everything you need. Advice to your love who can't seem to forget his old love who hurt him

in "Hold On To Me" offers a soft place to fall.

One of my favorites is "This Is Gonna Hurt Me" which shows better sense overtaken by

temptation -- we've probably all been there. I also like "Always Reminded Of You" where everywhere you go and everything you see brings back memories of the one you lost.

Overall, I have to say I really like Shannon's voice and style, and hope to hear more of her bluesy melancholy take on love. Thisyoung songstress appears to have a wide range of musical styles

to please an ever changing country audience.
