Meet Ryan Weaver, a high energy, all-American rockin country music artist with a performance that will get the crowd energized and inspired at any venue. Ryan is a performer/entertainer who proudly serves as an active duty soldier in the United States Army. To understand Ryan and his passion for music…you need to hear his unique story… Ryan Weaver, born in St. Petersburg, Florida, began his journey into music never short of talent, only short of opportunity, as most musicians are often faced with. Challenge, however, is not an unfamiliar word to Ryan. Growing up through financial struggles in a household with 8 siblings, Ryan learned early-on that achieving fulfillment in life would mean chasing his dreams, working hard and overcoming adversity without treasures in life being handed to him. Ryan, as well as his two brothers, served in the U.S. Army, which needless to say, was all about hard work, discipline and overcoming obstacles. After the death of his brother Aaron in 2004, who was killed by enemy fire during transport via a Black Hawk helicopter while they were both deployed to combat in Iraq, Ryan began his “made for books” journey toward becoming something truly special in the country music industry. Rather than allowing grief to overcome him and become an obstacle, Ryan found that his talents to sing and perform were powerful ways to convey his emotions. He has been able to create a unique sound and is uncharacteristically seasoned on stage with the wide range of audiences in front of which he’s performed. Ryan discovered from the start that music allows him to face the loss of his brother and gives him unparalleled strength to capture what’s in his heart and share it with the rest of the world. Currently serving as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the United States Army, Ryan’s story is not your typical one, developing from a U.S. Army Officer into the life of an artist and musician. At second glance, however, it’s evident the characteristics of both personas are very similar: dedication, perseverance, focus, passion, and a strong value of freedom. Not to mention the intelligence and cognizance it requires to graduate top of his class in flight school and ultimately become a U.S. Chief Warrant Officer 3 are undoubtedly requirements to success in the music industry as well as all facets of the business. All these things make up the ‘self’ of Ryan Weaver. When you see Ryan, whether it’s during a face to face conversation, watching him work behind the scenes, or watching him perform on stage, you will notice that what you see is exactly what you get. And what you get is his full attention, his passionate dedication, high energy and a very real and enduring artistic expression of who he is. Ryan is an incredible performer on stage, and off stage he is a very genuine, personable communicator that describes his fans as invaluable. “They spend their hard earned money to come see me, and I know the value the hard work it took to make that dollar. They deserve the best from me, all I can give, bar none. I know my dreams cannot come true without them, and it’s very important that they know how much I cherish their support.” Through his networking efforts and friendships gained along the way, Ryan was given a very special opportunity to record one of hit song writer/ singer and producer Jeffrey Steele’s songs called “Nineteen.” Once hearing Ryan’s vocal ability and seeing his drive for success, Jeffrey Steele has since recorded two more songs with Ryan, and has first refusal rights to produce his first album. With a highly respected hit artist/song writer, producer and experienced veteran in the industry believing he has what it takes to make it to the top in country music, you just can’t help but agree that the sky is the limit. As a way of expressing mutual respect and showing kinship, it’s common for Ryan to hear his peers say “Be Safe~.” It’s a simple way of saying “look out for yourself, and make it back home safely.” Those words were the last words his brother Aaron sent over instant messenger before he was killed in the “War on Terror.” Those last words have become symbolic in Ryan’s life and ironically soothing to him. Perhaps for Ryan these words really mean more than physical protection, instead looking out for yourself through life’s journey and making it back safely home where you belong. For Ryan, his home is indeed as an artist in the country music industry, and he’s going to make it there just fine.
