ZsjaZsja is that delicacy!At the age of 8, while studying ballet, she acquired a selective appreciation for classical music and jazz: especially big band, jazz standards and bossa nova. Recognizing her unwavering interest, her father (who was a musician, recording engineer, and writer) surprised her with "The Essential Stan Getz" album. Immediately, she began singing "The Girl From Ipanema". This was the beginning of the cultivating process.
Since that time, ZsjaZsja has continued to hone her vocal and songwriting talents while showcasing these talents through performances. She has broadened her musical repertoire and stylings to include: big band jazz/jazz standards, bossa nova, r&b, soul, blues, pop and more. She is an extremely disciplined performer and delivers a unique and superb sound regardless the genre.
ZsjaZsja's genuine passion for music and entertaining compliments her unique delivery; as she mesmerizes and captivates audiences. As the world renowned big band leader, trumpeter, and instructor Mike Vax simply put it, "[She] has a wonderful voice...[and] is very good!"
