About Reggie Miles

Reggie Miles

Songwriter, Singer, Storyteller, Slide Guitarist, Sawplayer

Earthy vocals, finger pickin' and bottleneck slidin' on a homemade resophonic guitar blends with the rhythmic moans of harmonica, while foot stompin' abounds. Unique among Northwest performance artists, songcrafters and singers, an aficionado of tall tale tellin', a maker and player of DIY Frankenstein instrumentation and the Pacific Northwest's premiere daredevil explorer of the eerie tones and subtle timbre of bowed, razor sharp spring steel betwixt quivering knees (the art of making music with a hand saw)

Has released 8 CDs since 1995, can be heard on the recordings of more than a dozen other Northwest artist's and is featured in half a dozen film and video productions across the US.

Has shared stages with legends in the entertainment industry: John Lee Hooker, Clifton Chenier, Sunnyland Slim, Elizabeth Cotton, Delbert McClinton, Johnny Rivers, Lee Oscar, The Kingston Trio....

Has entertained on national and NW regional radio and television: KPLU FM, KBCS FM, KUOW FM, KVTI FM, KSER FM, KMTT FM, KMPS FM...KCTS TV, KING TV, KCPQ TV, SCAN TV, PBS, The Disney Channel ...
