Since 2002 Pure Grain has captivated sold out audiences, garnered mainstream media attention, and radio airplay nationwide. Their homegrown roots rock sound hints at a cross of John Mellencamp and Train. The bands’ crossover appeal has earned them props with both country and rock fans alike.
The group has toured nationwide with fans hailing from all parts of the country. Pure Grain headlined the 2003 Last Chance Bluegrass and Roots Music Festival, in Helena Montana, played the Indiana State Fair, made network TV appearances and have opened for Hank Williams Jr. performing to 40,000 people at Fall Fest 2003. The band performed at The Barrel House Brewery for the 2004 Home Grown Music Festival, West Fest in Cheviot, and The Master Musicians Festival, Somerset Kentucky with Bone Pony, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Pure Grain also co-headlined the Concert Earth 2008 event at Miami Whitewater Forest.
