Review for Monster Cops: The Midnight Special. Written and Directed by Patrick A. Prejusa.************************************************ The Acting in this film was seriously some of the best I've ever seen in a indie film before, and for Patrick A. Prejusa as a first time director that says a lot. He is obviously a guy who has a lot of talent. What first time director can you name that not only wrote and acted in his first film, but did everything editing to producing it and still have made such a great product. I can't think of any. The talent in the film was outstanding, and I don't know if they were just friends of Patrick's or actors he got to be in the film, but they did a wonderful job. It takes a lot to make me laugh, and these guys had me laughing so much I had to skip back on the DVD a few times to see what I missed, I was laughing so much.

Another review for Monster Cops: The Midnight Special ********************************************************** If it were big-budget, or at least more widely available, The Midnight Special would be on the level of Office Space or Napoleon Dynamite for quotability. And just like Space and Dynamite, those who get the quotes will laugh, those who don’t will only stare in befuddlement. When this gets picked up for distribution, buy it. You don’t want to be Barry Befuddled.

Yet another review for Monster Cops: The Midnight Special.**************************************************Definitely give this one a shot if you're a fan of horror / comedies that tend to lean more towards the comedy rather than the horror. There's a lot of movies out there that are going this route thanks to the success of Shaun of the Dead, but The Midnight Special is truly one of the freshest and most hilarious films to come out of the genre. 9/10.

Already receiving rave reviews from fans of underground horror and comedy, Patrick is just beginning to reap the rewards of all his hard work. As a result, it wasn't long until I nudged my nose into his business in order to find out just what it takes to persevere through life's hardships and a few camera malfunctions in order to realize one's filmmaking dreams.
