Course Goals: To guide Hip Hop students toward an understanding of the history of Hip Hop, the ongoing dynamic and the future of Hip Hop media.
Guest Speakers will be the ODD SQUAAD
1. Take some of the prominent producers in the industry; Yoder, Terry Hunter, The Legendary Loop Leaders, NO ID etc.
2. Then add some of the hottest up and coming artist in Chicagoland; G-Fam, New Groundz, Suave, Joe Joe etc.
3. Then mix in some of the most seasoned MC's to ever touch the mic... H2, Rhymefest, Really Doe, Chante' Savage, Twone Gabz Danny Devine etc.
4. Then implement elements of different genres, styles and controversial concepts.
5. Include live music that is newly known as (organic sound).
And you'll come up with the most refreshing act from the Midwest since Common and Kanye West.
They are called the ODD SQUAAD. The name says it all.
Yoder, Phenom, J.G, Nyjiela and H2 comprise of the hottest group to ever come out of Colorado and the Midwest.ODD SQUAAD
Study the each song carefully before moving on to the next track as you will definitely miss something you will need for the final exam.
