Superstar of the Year 2008! He will flown to San Fran, Calif, to be a part of this great event alomg
with nine other guitarists on September 13th, 2008 at the legendary Great American Musical Hall in
San Francisco, California. Thousands of passionate guitarists worldwide entered, and ten were
chosen to strut their stuff in front of host Andy Summers of the Police and celebrity judges, including
Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Elliot Easton (Cars), George Lynch (Lynch Mob), and Brendon Small (Adult
Swim's Metalocalyopse).

“Now in its fourth year, this guitar gala just keeps getting better and better,” says Guitar Player Editor
in Chief Michael Molenda. “For the fans, it’s a fabulous cage match of absolute phenomenally
talented unknowns battling it out in an American Idol-style competition for guitarists. We’re also so
honored that such legendary players—Joe, Steve, Elliot, George, Andy, and Brendon—support the
event by agreeing to judge tomorrow’s guitar superstars. It’s like Brendon said, ‘Who would play in
front of guys like Satriani, Vai, Elliot Easton, and George Lynch? They must be lunatics!’”
