Melody has been playing and writing for 12 years, and is highly influenced by Sarah McLaughlin, Bryan Adams, Jewel, Roxette, Dashboard Confessional and more recently John Mayer. "he just has this way of singing a song that breaks your heart and makes you feel triumphant all at the same time" Melody says.
Melody has performed in almost every type of venue but none seem to intimidate or dissapoint. Everything from Coffee Shops to Festivals, Melody can take a stage and turn it into her own room with a comfort and a sence of belonging unlike most.
As Co-Founder of The Acoustic All-Stars in Pary City (With Tyler Forsberg) Melody has learned that a lot of hard work goes into booking, venues, and everything in between so she tries to be as easy to work with as possible.
She feels that her music has a lot to offer and anyone who hears her seems to feel like they've been exactly where she has. With songs that are easy to connect with and words that are beautifully written, Melody will be around for along time and more and more people will become fans.
Melody will have her first cd "Finally" out next year and will go full force with advertising, booking, and getting her name out there.
Park City's Magazine, "FlipSide" Said about her, [Melody's] songs are mellow and reflective, and feel like Melody's right there to cry and feel like crap with you". "I love that quote" Melody said, "It's exactly how I feel about it too".
Melody will be an artist to watch for.
