Influences: Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Biggy, Sizzla and other artistes from various genres.
Jrocksfinest formed in 2006 when two talented rap duo (QSG: Baby Shane & Bazzo B - Venomous Squad: Dame Houg & Wally Z) joined forces.
Baby Shane who was born on September 9th, 1985, attended Rosewell all age and Garvey Maceo started rapping from 2001 and later went on to inspire Bazzo B who was born on October 917h, 1985, attended Rosewell all age and Denbigh High, the two then formed the duo QSG in 2003.
Dame Houg was born on August 30th in Kingston and grew up in Tivoli and later migrated to portmore where he spent most of his teenage years attending Independence City all age and Jose Marte Technical High. He started rapping around 2002, he is also a very excellent song writer.
Oz Borned March 5th 1985 is a former student of Hagley Park Prep. and Excelsior High, grew up in Waltham Park, where he first started to develop his rap skills.
He then migrated to Portmore in the summer of 2003, where he met Dame Houg through a mutual friend and so they later formed the Venomous Squad. Bazzo B who was related to Oz found out that he also was pursuing a career in rap decided to migrate to Portmore with Baby Shane in 2006. This later resulted in the fusion to the two duo to from the group "JROCKSFINEST".
After accomplished their group and all, they later meet Dame Houg's friend Jahmai Smith a.k.a JahJah, Singer/ Studio Engineer and also the fifth member out of Jrocksfinest.
Jrocksfinest released their 1st mixtape in 2006 titled "Murda Capital".
In 2007 they released their 2nd mixtape titled "Money Over Everything" and Dame Houg released his first solo project titled "Blood Money" which got good responses in the streets.
Now more focused and matured artistes they have released their 3rd mixtape called "Blood Money II - The Return" a follow up to Dame Houg's Blood Money.
Blood Money II has gotten alot of great response in the streets and is a favorite among rap fans in Portmore with "Slime Hole" which has gotten rotation from Nikki-Z on zip 103fm and the title track "Blood Money" getting alot of rotationin dancehall circles in Portmore.
Jrocksfinest as performed at many venues in Kingston and St. Catherine.
Their most notable performance was at Amnesia, UWI and Westchester Jamboree.
They are presently working on a project and will soon be releasing two singles titled "Shawty" featuring JahJah and "Money aint a thang" featuring K young (of East Bankaz)
