John Q.

We are a band rooted in acoustic sound tapping into everything from blues to folk, and even hard rock. We played for a while as "The John Allison Band" because we couldn't come up with a name that we felt accurately represented us. We noticed at shows that the most common compliments we received were about the lyrics. Lots of folks said they like the songs because they focus on emotions and experiences that everyone has felt at some point. We want to make music that everyone can relate to. Like the people we write this music for, we are John Q. Thanks for being with us.
