ABOUT JOHN MYLIUS BAND…As far as I know ALMOST EVERY PERSON IN THE WORLD ENJOYS MUSIC…The Only Difference is Where we are from,When we are from,and what our music tastes are.[What Have we Been Exposed to throughout our lives].I Consider John Lennon and Paul McCartney the BEST songwriters in the history of OUR GENERATION . The Beatles will NEVER be surpassed in their Contributions to the world.There are Many other GREAT MUSICIANS that have had a profound effect on me…among them are the ALLMAN Brothers,Creedence Clearwater Revival,Jackson Browne,John Cougar Mellencamp…Just to name a few.. Bruce Springsteen is another..The Eagles..This list could go on and on.Music is never ending and always changing..Pearl Jam, Nirvana opened up a whole new sound…STAIND,EVANESCENCE..ALL FANTASTIC..ZZTOP’s first ALBUM and RIO GRANDE MUD..CHICAGO..DOOBIE BROTHERS..[Somebody stop me] My songs are written from Personal experiences and come straight from my heart.I have my own voice and my own feelings and I copy or make no attempt to copy or sound like anyone else [where is the fun in that ???? It’s already been done]I have songs that vary from HARD ROCK to COUNTRY ..but Most are somewhere in between ..and THAT IS ME I write my songs and I play rhythm guitar on all of them .I am very proud of the responses that I get from people that hear my stuff..THAT is what it’s all about.
