Jimmy Dormire is a guitarist/singer-songwriter with a deep passion for soulful music. As a guitarist and touring musician in the Nashville area since 1990 Jimmy held the lead guitar spot for 14 years with Atlantic Records Grammy nominated group "Confederate Railroad" thus sharing the stage with some of the finest artist's in the business including (Charlie Daniels, Dickey Betts/The Allman Brothers Band, 38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Montgomery Gentry) etc... 2008 marked a new evolution for Jimmy "SPEAKING HIS OWN TRUTH" with the debut release of "PREMONITION". Music that breathes with warm acoustic and electric guitar tones reaching deep into his soul to convey a holistic message of the blues. The songs are offerings/prayers for Mother Earth, Freedom, our Fallen Ancestors and ultimately Peace...With a deep inspiraton of influences: (Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, John Mclaughlin and Shakti, Tony Rice, Pat Martino, Eric Johnson, Van Morrison, John Coltrane), the spirit is present here with a heart touching wisdom...
