JESI RIDDLE "Boston's Pop Princess" - Growing up in the genteel suburbs North of Boston, Jesi knew from the beginning that music would be a big part of her life. As her interests took an unusual dual track of intense love for sports and music, Jesi starred in virtually every sport, from softball to volleyball to figure-skating, carring her athletic talents with her to college. At the same time, her growing love of music led her into church choir, chamber chorale, musical theatre, and dance, ultimately, leading into her singing career. There’s more to Jesi, though, than a sensual voice and burning passion for song. Being a Communication major in college, Jesi has thrown herself into her studies with the same energy she has shown for her singing, including earning a solid ranking as a High Honors student and induction into the elite National Communication Honors Society. “My life goal is to someday become a successful R&B/pop solo artist, and I’m determined to make it,” says Jesi. This doe-eyed chanteuse already has an impressive start on her quest, with a half-dozen songs that can be heard on her Myspace. She has worked with recording artists and producers all around the country including Young Franchi (New Orleans), Gyft (Arizona), and LYV (617Live Boston). As her fan base grows like wildfire, it continues to span the United States from coast to coast, crossing the Atlantic into Germany, and other parts of Europe and The United Kingdom.
