Give her a mic and a guitar, and the shy, quiet girl in the corner will show you her many colors - reaching out to those facing the hard trials of life with words real people can relate to.
Since childhood she has been involved in music with her first love being singing, and her second playing guitar. But for many years she kept her songwriting to herself. Battling depression and low self-esteem much of her life made it difficult to come out into the public eye. Eventually, she realized an intense longing to make a difference in the world through her music. She is now continuously encouraged by new listeners who acknowledge and applaud her talents. While some of her lyrics are a pouring out of her experiences, others come purely from years of bottled up creative energy. Her current recordings are only a small sampling of her works. She is constantly creating and evolving as an artist.
She has been performing at nearby venues, outdoor events and neighboring churches, and is always looking for new opportunities to share and connect with people. She released her first EP in June 2008. It's now available through CdBaby.com and through various digital downloading services. She also plays in her home church praise band.
Knowing that her talents are a gift from God, and realizing that Jesus is the most precious gift of all, she seeks to honor Him in all her endeavors. Her longing to help others through their struggles, and draw them closer to God's love continues to drive her forward.
