My musical talents began to surface at about the age of 5 when I started singing and playing a toy guitar by ear along with the country songs I heard on the family radio. Later, being left handed, I learned to play a right handed guitar upside down and backwards. About 35 years into my career I turned the strings around for a lefty and learned to play guitar all over again.
I migrated to Madison, Wisconsin in 1965 where I have played many opening acts, nightclubs, festivals, benefits etc. receiving many awards throughout my career.I'm a professional country singer, BMI songwriter and Nashville recording artist with 45+ years in the music business. Throughout the years I have taken my career from backstage with Merle Haggard to center stage performing and accepting my own awards, to one of the top 10 finalists in USA Network's first Nashville Star competition in Orlando, Florida.
