About FeelAbouT

FeelAbouT (Feel About) is a unique, energetic and an exiting rock band!

The first Israeli band to have ever take part in the prestigious "Los Angeles Music Awards" and to have won the title "Best Rock Band of the Year 2007".

The Los Angeles Music Awards is one of the most respectful and important music awards in Hollywood CA. In its 18 years of action, some of the most known artists in the world have taken part of it: No Doubt, Linkin Park, System of a Down and the black eyed pies.

FeelAbouT Is all about feeling and expressing by writing, playing and singing it out. Feeding on the everyday experience and letting it out. Most likely you'll get to see it best on their live shows when
everything breaks loose.

The Band
The band formed in the end of 2004. Its members are: Roni Weinstock - Female Vocals and guitar, Guy Fisher - Guitars, Aviran Rotem - Bass, Dror Rostami - Drums.

In 2005 the band recorded a 5 track EP album (mini album) which was used by the band as a "business card". The EP was produced by Eyal Leon Katzv (Mosaic Project), one of the best and known producers in Israel. When the EP was ready the band formed musical connections in the U.S and Europe and sent the album to who ever expected it - when the goal is clear - exposure to the worldwide music industry.

Parallel to that activity the band opened their MySpace page (www.myspace.com/feelabout) where the band got an amazing exposure to a vast audience and received great supporting feedbacks from listeners all over the world. At the same time the band preformed all over the country in clubs, festivals and colleges.

Today the band is getting an amazing amount of plays for an unsigned band - between 800-1200 plays per day! And still performing like crazy!

The music
FeelAbouT has a wide verity of musical influences, from alternative rock to poppy mainstream and American rock N' roll. Influences: Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Skunk Anansie, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin.

The bands music is most appealing to the younger audience teenagers and students.

Activity
April 2007 the band was chosen to be one of a 100 bands out of 2000 bands to be nominated to the Los Angeles Music Awards with 3 nominations: "The Best Rock Band of the Year", "The Best Female Vocal" and "The Best Album of the Year". The band then flew to Los Angeles to play 2 showcases in front of the judges and random audiences.

Simultaneously the band went on a one month California tour. Among the clubs they played was the world famous B.B King and "The Gig" in Hollywood.

In this whole time the band was accompanied by a TV filming crew who made an article on the bands activities and was broadcast in the JLTV channel. (A Jewish channel which broadcasts in the U.S)

November 2007 FeelAbouT was chosen to be one of the outstanding 9 bands to perform in the prestigious Los Angeles Music Awards main event at the Music Box Theatre on Hollywood blvd.

With the ending of their electrified performance the band was declared as the Best Rock Band of the year.

After their wining and the end of the California tour the band got back to Israel and received a great coverage from the Israeli Media.

January 2008 FeelAbouT is in the finishing process of their debut album, entering the studio for the final editing and mixing process. The debut album is produced by Eyal Leon Katzav.

February 2008 The single "Follow Me Down", the bands first single, is released to the media.

FeelAbouT is chosen to be on the spotlight of the American website SonicBids!

May 2008 "Follow Me Down" is chosen to be on the "editor's choice" in the American cellular website MyXer.com (www.myxer.com/feelabout). In 24 hours the single gets 10,000 downloads!

The work on the album is an independent, on going work, of good friends. 12 tracks were chosen out of tens of other great songs. In the process of making the album, the recording studios, recording gear, microphones and amplifiers were punctiliously chosen in order to create the prefect sound for this genre.

The digital editing and mastering will be preformed in December 2008 in Sterling Sound studios NYC, by one of the best mastering technicians in the world - George Marino.

The album will also include a video clip of "Small Mind" which was recorded in Los Angeles and is now in the final process of editing.
