About Dizzy G Gillespie

During Dizzy's last European Tour, he was involved in a near fatal car accident. Having just performed an Acoustic Show at Plume D'Art in Lyon, France, while enroute to Venice, Italy, fate nearly ended his life (and his music).

However, in True Texas Style, his Perserverance and Determination enabled him to make a Complete and Succesful Recovery. As the Music you find here from "The Crossroads", will attest to!

In the Great Tradition of Texas Gunslingers and Guitarists, DIZZY G. GILLESPIE has proven worthy of his Texas Roots.

Dizzy has amazed Fans & Musical Peers alike, with his Incredible Guitar Rifts and his Unique Style of Playing. His Slide Work has been likened to that of Johnny Winter, and he even plays "Slide" on Mandolin!

As a seasoned International Musician, Dizzy has mastered both Blues and Rock genres, and this ability makes his performances exciting and memorable. Whether he is Singing, Playing the Mandolin or executing a complicated guitar passage, Dizzy puts his entire Heart and Soul into his music.

His Incredible Abilities, and Professional Attitude have provided a Reputation that has earned him the Respect of some of the Industries Top Companies, as is evidenced by his long list of Endorsements. (He can even be found on Dean Guitars Artist Page & Player)

Dizzy and his accomplished band members compliment each others unique style. Sometimes it seems that they perform as one and their synchronicity onstage is awe-inspiring. Today many artists rely upon Smoke & Mirrors Technology in the studio and on stage to make a favorable impression. Dizzy and his band, "Play" their own instruments, and aren’t afraid to lay it on the line!
