Crazy Stallion and The Legends
Crazy Stallion and The Legends was formed in the Spring of 2008 in order to play at a battle of the bands at The University of New Haven. Brendan Frodell and Marc Romanello (formerly of The Highplains Drifters) have been playing and writing together since before they knew how to play instruments. When asked how this project differs from any other project they have done in the past, Marc said, "We have matured and learned how to write. The most drastic change has been the writing process. Frodell used to come to The Highplains Drifters and show a guitar line and lyrics and we would work around it. Now I come to the band with every musical aspect for a song, except maybe the drums, and Frodell tries to fit his lyrics in." One must not forget about the powerful rhythm section that this band has obtained. John Dougherty's smooth and funky bass lines and Eric Alexander's powerful drumming give Crazy Stallion and The Legends a unique twist on modern rock and, more importantly, their sound. When asked what made him decide to play for the Stallions, Eric Alexander said, "We all just have a passion to play. The flow between the four of us is amazing, I could tell that from the first time i sat down with these guys..."
