Chesney Snow is one of New York City's most accomplished human beatboxers. Having headlined venues such as the Blue Note, the Knitting Factory, the Nuyorican Poetry Cafe and numerous features at hot spots such as BB Kings, Chesney is known for rocking crowds in a variety of genres. You will usually find him with a leading underground Emcee or rocking out with a hot live band acoustically or even gliding alongside New York's top electronic and Bangra DJ's.
His projects have garnered a CLIO Award, CINDY Silver Award and a featured spot on MTV Unplugged Kayah which was certified Gold in 2007. In 2007 he joined Kayah, Sister Sledge, Nora Jones, Hot Chocolate, and the Village People for Sopot 2007 rocking live for 9 million people. In early 2008 his song Dragonfly hit the #1 spot on the Ourstage Experimental charts.
In late 2008 Chesney joins forces with The Beat Kangz for the major release of a groundbreaking 'beat machine' featuring Chesney's beatboxing. His beatboxing was not merely used for beatboxing sounds but injected with the machine's real drum samples, a testament to his skills on the microphone.
