Albany, NY's Broadcast Live is powered by their commitment to social justice. On their latest album Boomerang Metropolis, out January 27th, Broadcast Live mixes equal parts indie rock and hip hop, with a good helping of spoken word and a splash of punk. Once compared to Wyclef, Modest Mouse, The Coup, Ani DiFranco and Neil Young all in one breath, these four socially-passionate musicians believe that the message of their music is more important than anything else. That said, Broadcast Live produces strong, rich beats to compliment their lyrics and to offer their audience a soundtrack for dancing.
