Our music and stage presence has enabled us to be booked to open for many national acts when they travel through Charlotte. Some of these include The MIsfits, Antiseen, Agent Orange, The Mentors, The Murder Junkies, Joe Buck Yourself, The Have Nots, The Sex Slaves, and Scott H. Biram. We also played The Heavy Rebel Weekender in 2009.
The songs you are hearing are true DIY. There was no studio, no producer, engineer, pedal boards etc.. The recording was done in a garage. All music was recorded live in 1 to 3 takes with leads and vocals overdubbed to finish the project.
To date, The Hive have released 2 albums. Never Met A Guitar I Didn’t Wanna Destroy was released in the winter of 2009 on cd and on itunes. Bad Excuse for Bad Manners was released on feb 7th 2012. it is on clear green vinyl with a digital download card. Only 500 were pressed so when these are gone people are going to have to settle for the cd version or download from itunes.

Our only requirement is a pa system and 2 microphones and mic stands. No need for fancy lights or monitors. We will play old school punk rock style if that's all your venue can accommodate.
