CHICAGO'S OWN THE ROCKETEERS, CONSISTING OF D WIN AND JOHNNY ROCKET, HITS US WITH TWO SINGLES TO START THE SUMMER. THEIR EP "BLUE CLOUDS, WHITE SKIES" IS DUE EARLY NEXT YEAR, BUT BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR MORE SINGLES TO HIT THE INTERNET AND ALSO A MIXTAPE SOMETIME THIS SUMMER.

The Rocketeers are D-Win and Johnny Rocket. Hailing from Indianapolis and Chicago, the two met on a bus one day and since then its been history. Inspired by the likes of N.E.R.D., Outkast and Gnarls Barkley, The Rocketeers are something fresh and different. Their EP Blue Clouds, White Skies is due sometime next year. Be on the lookout for an interview and mixtape coming soon.

he Rocketeers are a hip hop duo made up of Darius "D-Win" Windfield" (from Indianapolis,IN) and Lance "Johnny Rocket" Howard (Chicago, IL). The two met randomly of the bus about year and a half ago. D-Win had just gotten off work and got on the bus to over hear Johnny Rocket talking to his sister. He was saying,"Man I wish I had some artist to work with, musically". From there they linked up, and would later become The Rocketeers. The Rocketeers have done shows at The Funky Buddah Lounge, Fiesta Cantina, Florida Memorial University, and Club Spin in Indianapolis,IN. The Rocketeers get their sound from N.E.R.D, C.R.S, Outkast, and Gnarles Barkley. The Rocketeers are currently working on the E.P, "Blue Clouds, White Skies", Which will be released in 2009 under their independent label Rocketeer Music. Stupid Fresh (now being played on Chicago Radio's WGCI) and Saved By The Bell are the leading singles.
