With its complete formation coming in the Summer of 2008, 36sunrise has already started making its mark on the Minnesota Music Scene and beyond. Currently the band has finished recording their debut EP to be released on Blooming Records in the Summer of 2009.
Under the guidance of Grammy nominated producer/engineer Chris W. Langer at Castle Productions (Soul Asylum, Widespread Panic, The Moody Blues), 36sunrise has created a masterpiece worthy on international recognition.
The band has already received national exposure through the American Cancer Society and Thinkpinkkids.com as the musical face of their national campaign.
36sunrise pushes out tunes that grab audiences with their edgy take on popular rock music. With sonic influences ranging from Gavin DeGraw to Incubus, there is something for everyone in the music of 36sunrise. To date, members of 36sunrise have shared the stage with national acts such as Better Than Ezra, Story of the Year, Anberlin, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Shannon Curfman and more.
