In 2006 old grammar school pals Neil Parek and Mike Balboa began their search for a singer and bass player. After numerous responses from every singing yahoo in the state, Collin Elliott responded from none other than a craigslist ad. Collin's background being a Singer/Songwriter provided a fresh approach and an unlikely sound. With bassist Shawn Dailey joining the lineup, The Surrender is now recording their first EP, and should be hitting the road very soon.
