This song talks about the street in NYC where I grew up as a child. My aim was to take the listener on a journey down the street where I lived and to give some insight into what life was like for us when we were growing up. Because of the lyrical content of the track, the track definitely has a kinda "back in the day" sort of feel to it which I think is definitely reflected in the music which is slightly reminiscent of the early soulful hip-hop which was commonplace in the early to mid 90s.
