This U.S. based band has been heavily influenced by The Kinks, Abbie Hoffman, The Stones, Bob Dylan, and John Lennon. The Nashville paper "The Rage" said Secret Handshake has a penchant for snearing social comentary with thier woozy minor key tunes and dead aim lyrical touch. watch out for these guys- and girl in the next year. Just listened to your At The Gates in Folk channel and stopped by to find out more. Looking forward to listening to all your songs. I like minor keys and sneering lyrics so hopefully I'm in for a treat! (you guys ever heard of English folk genius Nick Drake? Would fit in well with your other influences - his music changed my life like Lennon and Dylan (and the Ramones and Sabbath)I'd check him out if you haven't heard of him as its life changing music)

Talk about original music- that is what your music is! I am tired of the shit I hear on the radio. I am glad I found your music. It is a style unlike no other and in a league of its own. Good Luck- I am a fan and will continue to listen. Keep posting songs!
