This is one of those songs that just screams "cover me!" The original is cool, but I always thought it fell short of it's potential. You guys just proved my point. Sweet.

... BTW: I would be remiss if I did not mention the Drums. A human metronome; definitely the glue that’s keeping it all together. Once again, Nicely done. Great work.

Congratulations on your July Win. "Great-Eyed Lady" is an absolute killer!! The guitars are ferocious. The Bass is deep, almost sinister. The lead vocal is every bit as good as the original, and nicely nestled in the musical bed. You took what’s best from the original and created a wall of sound; a tight product that could not be denied, hence your victory last month.
Even Sugarloaf would be proud.
Nicely done.
