musicians and singers of great experience and performance.
In 2000, Ricardo Pellegrin El Kady & Sami received the gold medal
as best authors-composers
for the "World music" category
at the great international contest
"SONG EXPO Benelux International 2000" in the Netherlands
among more than 1000 participants from 57 countries.
Their repertoire travels from Folk to Jazz,
flowing through African-beat, Samba, Bossa,
Blues and Latin rhythms
enriched by diverse poetic languages.
April 2007: El KadySami received the Title/Status Award of "Gold Artist".
This great musical Award is granted
by the very well known satellite radio in the USA – RadioIndy.com
April 2008: El KadySami received an « Honorable Mention » Award
from « Song of the Year » * USA -dec. 07.
July 2008: the duo received an "Honorable Mention" from the "15th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest".
Sept. 08: El KadySami
are Semi-finalists
among 6,200 songwriters
from all over the world.
