Unison horns play an angular melody over a driving bass groove, swinging into playful turnarounds on the bridge. "The Window" was written in memory of the many years Joël spent playing in front of a huge plate glass window at Swig, a jazz club on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Passersby would stare at the musicians as if into a goldfish bowl.
